This is the midterm presentation in Sandra Manninger & Matias del Campo Studio. They're guest professors at DIA Dessau Institute of Architecture and we're as students in Master program working with them in a Barcelona Infusion Studio.

This presentation including more than one task . . .

The First Task was go to one of the Comic book stores and find an image that captures the atmosphere of a city space and tells the person who is looking at this image about a lot of qualities of urban space.

So, I decide to choose one that told us about the invisible "meaning" in the city..

I want to indicate to the Invisible City that have a lot of people actions inside the city like relations, life events, cultures, conflicts and feeling and so on.

If we imagine and try to touch all these invisible meaning, then I think we can convert this invisible city to a real city.

And, this is another image that tell us some messages like how the people think fly, go to far away from jam city and imagine the Earth without gravity.

The Second Task was look for seeds, shells and nuts. Go into the wild and gather a specific
fruit, capsule, kernel, nut.. etc.

And, we had to take some photos for it and try to cut the nut by different ways.

My choice was the Walnut because this one have an interesting ideas for me.
The strong shell of the nut that have amazing pattern from outside, the smart internal construction system that convert from vertical to horizontal system and from one main axis to two branches in the center of the nut and how this internal structure interact with the kernel.

The Third Task was make 30 cells by different ways or tools in Maya graphic program.
I tries to do this thing with these cells. I used different tools in Maya to create 12 cells shapes among volumes and surfaces objects.

The Forth Task was start to design one cell that able to use it as useful mechanical component and try to think how to connect each cell with other cells.

So, I designed two proposals for this cell. The first one was the triangular Cell and the other was the Hexagonal Cell. Each one of them have different concepts in how to control of it and how to connect with the other cells.
