The Project / Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona

SalonSonar. The task of this semester is to create an architectonic representation for the Sonar festival, an annual festival of progressive music and multimedia arts in Barcelona. The SalonSonar will comprise an exhibition space, recording studios, office spaces and a club area.
The main lineage of exploration in this studio investigates how intensive forces, including solar radiation, weather systems, acoustic forces and wind pressures can be used as means of formation for architectural bodies. Using parametric tools in combination with simulation software result in opportunities to observe the behavior of architectural bodies under ecological pressure.
The architectural body, the launching pad for the investigations in the studio, is comprised by the SalonSonar which is situated as an infill in the urban texture of Barcelona.

I M M - July 2011
Impressive Movies of Month "IMM" is a new idea that interested in adding my favorite movies monthly. I'll choose some movies that give us an important information or new ideas or a good background about one of our life aspects.
IMM will not go to a specific topic or field but It'll come from the world media in all directions with strong messages
